Is your hair 100% human hair?Yes. All of our hair is 100% human hair. Every bundle and half wig is individually prepared, quality-checked and packed by us before it’s sent to you.Which texture will blend with my natural hair?It depends on your curl pattern and how you wear your leave-out:Crown Kinks: rich Type 4 kinks. Blends best with 4B–4C hair worn in its natural state.Ocean Coils: defined coils with volume, a hybrid of Crown Kinks and Burmese Curly. Blends well with 4A–3C hair, or with Type 4 hair that’s been twisted out or defined.Burmese Curly: the classic curl. Blends with 3B–3C curls.Indian Curly: soft, loose and undone. Blends with a stretched or blown-out leave-out that’s been curled or set on rods to match the pattern.Tip: your leave-out doesn’t have to match naturally. Setting it on flexi rods or curling it is an easy way to blend it with any of our textures.Not sure which to choose? Send a clear photo of your leave-out in natural light to support@shopminkandmane.co, and we’ll help you decide.Can I colour or bleach the hair?Yes, our hair can be coloured, but we recommend using an accredited professional colourist. Colouring, bleaching and any chemical processing are at your own risk, and change the hair from the condition we sent it in. Coloured hair can’t be returned or replaced.Can I straighten the hair?Yes. Our hair can be straightened, and the curl pattern will return when you wash it. As with natural hair, regular straightening or high heat will gradually loosen the curl over time. Always use a heat protectant and keep the heat as low as possible. Heat damage isn’t covered by our returns policy.Does the hair shed or tangle?All human hair sheds a little, especially in the first few washes. This is normal.To keep shedding to a minimum:Seal your wefts with a weft sealer before installing.Avoid cutting wefts where you can. If you need to cut one, seal the cut ends straight away, or the hair will shed from that point.Curly and coily hair can tangle without the right care. Keep it moisturised, detangle gently with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, and sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase.Please note: shedding or tangling caused by cutting or altering the wefts isn’t covered by our returns policy.Every order comes with a care card covering how to look after your hair. How many bundles do I need?It depends on your style and length:2 bundles: half-braided styles, or adding a few tracks for volume3 bundles: full install4 bundles: full install with extra fullness, or lengths over 22″5 bundles: available in Indian Curly for a super full lookNot sure? See our length guide for how each length looks when worn. If you’re between two lengths, email us and we’ll help you choose.Can I mix lengths or textures?Yes, through a special order. Email support@shopminkandmane.co with the textures and lengths you’d like, and we’ll confirm availability, price and processing time.

How long will my order take?your total wait is processing time plus delivery time. Processing depends on your texture and length and is shown on each product page. UK delivery takes 1–3 working days after dispatch. See our Delivery & Returns page for full processing and delivery times.Do you ship internationally?Yes, we ship worldwide. UK orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked 24, and international orders with UPS. Delivery times for each region are on our Delivery & Returns page.Will I have to pay customs fees?For orders outside the UK, customs duties, import taxes and any fees charged on arrival are the responsibility of the customer, not The Mink + Mane Co. Please check your country’s import rules before ordering.Can I collect my order?We don’t offer collections. All orders are delivered, so please allow the full processing and delivery time for your order. You’ll find both on our Delivery & Returns page.

How do I wash and care for my hair? What products do you recommend?Every order comes with a care card showing our full care routine and the products we recommend for your texture. If you didn’t receive one, email support@shopminkandmane.co and we’ll send it to you.The basics:Wash every 1–2 weeks with a sulphate-free shampoo, working downwards through the hair. Don’t rub it in circles.Condition every time you wash, and deep-condition regularly to keep the curls soft and defined.Detangle while the conditioner is in, with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working up.Refresh between washes with water and a leave-in conditioner.Protect at night with a satin bonnet or pillowcase.

Can I return my hair if I change my mind?Every order is made to order for you, and hair is a hygiene product, so we can’t accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind, including choosing the wrong texture, length or fullness. Please read our FAQs and length guide, or email us before ordering if you’re unsure.What if there’s a problem with my hair?Please check your hair as soon as it arrives, before washing, colouring or installing it. Tell us within 48 hoursof delivery about anything visible on arrival, or within 30 days about anything that appears with wear.
